Our Programs
ACCESS TO BETTER HEALTH (ABH) Our nurturing and supportive home management program for adults includes sexual health, harm reduction, medical copay support linking to appropriate care coaching, testing and medical equipment and prevention education.
SUPPORTIVE HOUSING INITIATIVE In partnership with Help From Hattie, the Supportive Housing Initiative connects Georgia residents with safe and stable housing and medical and mental health professional support. Our program assists veterans, DV survivors, and at-risk adults.
RETURNED REFRESHED RE-ENTRY PROGRAM The Returned Refreshed program is an employment connection for second chance populations - including adults over age 55, veterans, and those with a history of incarceration. Our program assists men and women.

Access to Better Health (ABH)
Be in control of your health and get the care you need. Access to Better Health provides participants with professional and friendly support that coaches you in managing your health at home. We assist with chronic illness, sexual health and testing, harm reduction, and access to medical equipment. Conditions that require daily medication qualifies for the ABH program, including high blood pressure, diabetes, COPD, congestive heart failure, chronic pain, and end-stage renal failure.

Help From Hattie provides a licensed health coach to support you every step of the way with weekly sessions virtually or in-person. Get a health assessment to jumpstart your care plan to keep you well and out of the hospital. Get the benefits of early intervention with the ABH program.

Supportive Housing Initiative
Our supportive housing initiative provides safe and stable housing to males and females, ages 24 and up, including veterans, DV survivors, and reentry candidates. We offer access to support and comprehensive services that offer opportunities to rebuild lives with dignity and sustainability.
Coordinated services are available for individuals reintegrating into society post incarceration and adults at-risk. Services covered include mental and medical health services, regular food sources, financial help to develop a path to independence, and links to substance abuse counseling.
Returned Refreshed
Returned Refreshed is a job-readiness program for men and women looking for assistance to get back to work. Local organizations that partner with Help From Hattie supports job placement and career opportunities for participants, including help with resumés, interview coaching, and business attire for the first interview.

Returned Refreshed supports eligible adults who reside in Georgia. [See Counties We Serve] The program will equip you with the skills to confidently navigate the return to the job market and secure and sustain employment. We assist with pre-employment physicals, vaccinations, and testing. All backgrounds welcome.

At Help From Hattie, we believe that community health is a collective effort. Our services are designed to strengthen the bonds within our community, creating a network so everyone can thrive. These standalone services offer eligible adults and organizations opportunities to access our network of resources without joining Help From Hattie programs, ensuring everyone is able to prioritize their health and wellness.
